Day 1!

Hello! Yesterday we left campus and drove to meet the boat. We explored the historic St. Mary’s City, including a replica of the 17th century ship, the Dove.

We then set up camp, ate dinner, and put on some 4th of July gear and walked down to the beach to watch fireworks. Overall, it was a great first day, and we are super excited to get on the Sigsbee and start sailing tomorrow!
