Wow, yesterday was another fun-filled, exciting day! We left Solomons Island bright and early in the morning and sailed towards Tilghman’s Island. On the boat, we learned more about maps and wind speed, and we started our final projects, which are studies of the indicators from the Health of the Bay report card. Once we docked at Tilghman’s Island, we visited the Phillips Wharf Environmental Center, where we learned about aquaculture. After setting up our tents and eating dinner, we spent some time “hunting” for fossils we made yesterday. Overall, it was an awesome day!
Working on our final projects.
Doing a scavenger hunt at the environmental center!
