Day 8 and 9 (last day)

Day 8 was super fun! We sailed for a few hours and participated in the annual skipjack races! What skipjack races are games related to the boat and sailing. During these races, the students demonstrate the knowledge they have gained in the last week. They were lots of fun! We set up camp for the last time in St. Mary’s historic city and swam at the beach. It was a great day. Did I mention that each student got multiple opportunities to drive the boat throughout the trip? They all did a great job at it too! Day 9 We packed camp for the last time, ate a delicious breakfast, and each student presented their final project. It was a great way to see how very intelligent everyone is! The trip was a success and the students are now on their way back to the land portion of camp. With all the love in the world, Sigsbee
